CoolSculpting vs UltraSlim: What’s the Difference?

Peakbody CoolSculptingNowadays people are busier than ever. From school to work to our social lives there never seem to be enough hours in the day. So this leaves us to ask a simple question: Does anyone have time to recover from lipo anymore? Our bet is that no, people don’t. If we’re struggling to squeeze in a half an hour workout each morning, how the heck do we think we’ll be able to skip the office for a week or two? Plus, who’s going to take care of us while we’re recovering at home? There’s good news, though. Insta-worthy bodies are possible without the anxiety and downtime of surgery with the help of noninvasive, nonsurgical fat reduction methods. That’s right: technology is on our side. Science supplies us with nonsurgical, noninvasive methods for getting our bodies Insta-ready while maintaining our normal daily routine. UltraSlim and CoolSculpting are two examples of noninvasive procedures that require mere minutes to permanently shrink pesky fat cells and finally win the battle of the bulge. In addition to their similarities, these methods can be different. In this article we’ll explore how they’re similar and different.

Basics of CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is known worldwide as an FDA approved procedure for the nonsurgical, noninvasive reduction of fat. Developed by Harvard scientists, this tried and true method uses targeted cooling to blast stubborn fat cells.

During the procedure, cool temperatures hit the fat cells with the use of a special applicator. Then, the fat dies in a process known as cryolipolysis. The dead fat cells are naturally excreted from the body over time with the use of the body’s lymphatic system. This procedure is permanent, meaning, once those fat cells are removed they are gone forever. The fat cells can’t grow back.

CoolSculpting is based on the recognition that fat freezes at a different temperature than other parts of the body. This is what makes it possible for CoolSculpting to target fat cells while none of the other cells or tissues in the body are harmed.

CoolSculpting Near MeBasics of UltraSlim

When an UltraSlim treatment is performed, the provider uses a special red light that can affect the mitochondria inside the body’s fat cells, creating a hole inside the membrane of the cell. This allows the triglycerides and fatty acids to make their way out of the membrane and get absorbed into the lymphatic system and then get excreted out of the body naturally, over time. According to UltraSlim practitioners, the red light process allows fat to be released from the body, while at the same time making the skin firmer. Why does this happen? The UltraSlim process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are needed to produce and maintain healthy, youthful skin.

CoolSculpting vs UltraSlim: What are the similarities?

CoolSculpting and UltraSlim have a bunch in common. Most importantly, both of these body contouring procedures were approved by the FDA as noninvasive, nonsurgical methods. That means both of the methods are able to provide clients with clinically-proven results – and neither requires surgery to do that. Here are all of the things these technologies have in common:

  • Fat removal is permanent. Once the fat is killed and then naturally excreted from the body over time, it does not grow back.
  • Noninvasive. Both of these methods are noninvasive, meaning they do not require surgical intervention in order to work.
  • Utilizing the body’s lymphatic system. Both of these utilize the body’s natural lymphatic process in order to properly excrete the fat cells that were killed during the process. In fact, any nonsurgical option utilizes the body’s lymphatic system during this point.

Peakbody CoolSculpting Westchester NJCoolSculpting vs UltraSlim: Overall

Both of these methods are great at ridding the body of stubborn, unwanted fat. As we explored above, these methods are more similar than they are different. Overall these are excellent fat removal methods, but we think CoolSculpting is better because it has been around much longer. We call CoolSculpting the “tried and true” fat reduction method and it’s absolutely true. That’s because CoolSculpting is known worldwide – most of these other fat reductions methods are not. CoolSculpting is performed day in and day out in nearly every corner of the globe. Pair that fact with the fact that CoolSculpting has been around for much longer than any of the other methods, and, because of that, much more is known about it and its effect on the body.
