How Painful Is Coolsculpting
For most people, CoolSculpting is not painful. However, some do experience mild discomfort at the beginning of the procedure as the tissue is cooling down, or when the applicator is removed for the 2-minute massage. Most people experience a mild stinging or tingling sensation, or cramping.
If you are in the minority of people who experience discomfort, our physician can offer a mild analgesic to reduce the pain. Generally, this soreness occurs in the days following treatment. We always communicate with our patients during this period to ensure that they are feeling okay, and we can easily be reached if you have additional concerns.
